Scope
Interior upfit construction services for the 35th-largest accredited museum in the nation, including exhibition, educational, administrative and support space to display and store collections of American, European, Contemporary Art and Craft + Design collections
Highlights
Four passenger elevators, one service elevator and one freight elevator, four levels of stacked escalators, pre-finished wood ceiling, hardwood flooring, a 240-seat auditorium and a museum shop
Computer system for children to create digital art, displayed on a 20-foot by 37-foot LED screen on the exterior of the Knight Theater for viewing from the street
The project is the third component of the Levine Center for the Arts for which Rodgers served as construction manager. Rodgers also constructed the neighboring Knight Theater and Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
Includes shared infrastructure for Levine Center for the Arts campus and central energy plant for all the facilities
