Wake Tech Community College
Lilly Science Science and Technology Center

The WTCC Lilly Science and Technology Center is a 66,000 sf facility focused on biotechnology instruction for 2-year college students, as well as non-degree workforce continuing education students. The building includes a variety of spaces that include classrooms, labs, offices, a science suite with an aseptic clean room, and several collaboration spaces.

Wake Tech has named the facility the Lilly Science and Technology Center, in recognition of a $1.1 million contribution from Eli Lilly and Company to support biotech and life sciences programs at the college.

Extensive site work included a retention pond, parking lots constructed for future campus growth and common green space to tie in the central campus.

The building was awarded two Green Globes certifications from Green Building Initiative.
