Scope

  • Preconstruction and construction of a single-story, steel-frame library/museum dedicated to the life and teachings of Reverend Billy Graham, with adjacent restoration of the Graham family’s two-level, brick, colonial-style home, built in 1927

Highlights

  • The museum, situated on several acres within the Association’s Headquarters campus, resembles a barn with stand-alone silo

  • Includes ten multi-media exhibition spaces, the bookstore, Ruth’s Attic, “a café” with seating area, archive room, two theaters, four galleries, offices, customized restrooms, and storage space

  • Features two interesting material distinctions through the use of wood-rich red-brown hues of cedar on the exterior and the warm tones of pine in the interior

  • The Homeplace, designed by ITEC Productions, is decorated with antique furnishings (originals and replicas). The designer is best-known for creating entertainment centers and themed environments at Disney Parks, Epcot, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and The Holy Land Experience
