Scope
Preconstruction and construction of a single-story, steel-frame library/museum dedicated to the life and teachings of Reverend Billy Graham, with adjacent restoration of the Graham family’s two-level, brick, colonial-style home, built in 1927
Highlights
The museum, situated on several acres within the Association’s Headquarters campus, resembles a barn with stand-alone silo
Includes ten multi-media exhibition spaces, the bookstore, Ruth’s Attic, “a café” with seating area, archive room, two theaters, four galleries, offices, customized restrooms, and storage space
Features two interesting material distinctions through the use of wood-rich red-brown hues of cedar on the exterior and the warm tones of pine in the interior
The Homeplace, designed by ITEC Productions, is decorated with antique furnishings (originals and replicas). The designer is best-known for creating entertainment centers and themed environments at Disney Parks, Epcot, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and The Holy Land Experience
