Scope
Caroline’s Corner is a special, private area on the pediatric floor of Hemby Children’s Hospital. Through a partnership with Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Foundation, John and Ginny Comly have chosen to honor their youngest daughter, Caroline Comly, with Caroline’s Corner, allowing her legacy to live on.
The space, with a tagline of, “Care comfort and hope”, offers a warm, peaceful place to rest and find comfort for families with a hospitalized child in the PICU. Here they can retreat to a spacious and private area and make every day spent at the hospital a little more comfortable so they can focus on their child.
The 856-square-foot space includes soft seating, TVs, work stations, food service, a shower and laundry for families, providing them everything they need when they can’t go home.
