Charlotte Country Club Clubhouse Restoration and Addition
Scope
Comprehensive renovation and restoration of the 1931 Clubhouse and construction of a new two-level addition
Also involved renovating the golf shop, teen center, pool house, tennis center, and guardhouse as well as installation of two new elevators and accompanying stairways
Challenges
The majority of the renovation and restoration involved demolition and replacement of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, so every room was affected and each had its unique set of challenges
Rodgers’ meticulous planning and phased construction schedule allowed uninterrupted member and staff access, which helped maintain Charlotte Country Club’s reputation and revenue stream throughout the renovation process
