USC School of Medicine Health Sciences Education Building
Scope
Upfit and addition to a three-story building shell that was originally completed in 2008 on the Greenville Memorial Medical Campus
Second and third floors were added over the main atrium. The second floor, which has a quiet study lounge, suspends from the new third floor student lounge, framed into the existing perimeter columns
Both areas have a circumference of glass windows that offer a full view of the building’s exterior surroundings. A half-floor mezzanine creates a corridor of private study carrels and a large storage room
