Highlights
Old equipment was replaced with new machines, including a linear accelerator with state-of-the-art onboard imaging among other features
A large, durable radiation vault was constructed with a six-foot-thick concrete wall to contain radiation within the vault
The space is wired for video conferencing, providing doctors with access to clinical trials, education opportunities and collaboration with doctors at other locations
