Rodgers is hiring a Safety Coordinator in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements / Experience

  • 1-2 years of construction field experience or a degree in Safety
  • Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Jobsite inspections-working in Charlotte for a year undergoing onsite learning/training, as well as attending many training programs/classes. After a year, travel to various jobsites in North Carolina will be required.
  • Willingness to learn construction safety (OSHA 10, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED)
  • Write reports and follow-up for compliance
  • Onsite one on one training with employees
  • Assist in completing accident investigations
  • Assist in employee injury investigations
  • Conduct employee orientations in the field
  • Attend pre-construction meetings
  • Conduct site safety meetings
  • Maintain Construction Infection Control Institute (CICTI), and CCHT/CCHM certifications
