Rodgers has an opportunity for a Project Engineer in Charleston, SC.
Requirements / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or related field, or related construction experience
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Record meeting minutes for subcontractor meetings as well as meeting minutes for OIC
- Document management (ensuring all drawings and up to date)
- Weekly updates
- Punchwork – Making punch lists for owners, designers, and Rodgers
- Obtaining closeout material
- Quality assurance and quality check (ensuring the material is correct and that there are no discrepancies)
- Permit expectations/holds (permit check)
- Writing RFIs and reviewing submittals
