Rodgers has an opportunity for a Preconstruction Services Administrative Coordinator in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in preconstruction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Copilot, and BlueBeam
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Proven self-starter
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to successfully prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Assist preconstruction and operations with day-to-day administrative support, including Bid Package Manuals and Cost Study Book
  • Ensure Bid Package Manuals and Cost Study Books are prepared in accordance with company procedures and guidelines, i.e., no alteration of standard verbiage, proper listing of subcontract documents, project/bond insurance requirements, safety information, etc., and are maintained appropriately on the Precon Hub tab and project folders
  • Assist with establishing standard operating procedures for preconstruction services, including updates to BPM and CS templates and the Hub
  • Prepare bid forms and order bid bonds in accordance with project requirements
  • Bid certified check process
  • Manage Historical Cost Database
  • Create and maintain preconstruction electronic project files
  • Order office supplies and maintain office equipment for preconstruction
  • Maintain an organized and professional office
  • Training of admin support in preconstruction deliverables
