Rodgers has an opportunity for a Preconstruction Services Administrative Coordinator in Charlotte, NC.
Requirements / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of work experience in preconstruction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Copilot, and BlueBeam
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- Proven self-starter
- Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to successfully prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Assist preconstruction and operations with day-to-day administrative support, including Bid Package Manuals and Cost Study Book
- Ensure Bid Package Manuals and Cost Study Books are prepared in accordance with company procedures and guidelines, i.e., no alteration of standard verbiage, proper listing of subcontract documents, project/bond insurance requirements, safety information, etc., and are maintained appropriately on the Precon Hub tab and project folders
- Assist with establishing standard operating procedures for preconstruction services, including updates to BPM and CS templates and the Hub
- Prepare bid forms and order bid bonds in accordance with project requirements
- Bid certified check process
- Manage Historical Cost Database
- Create and maintain preconstruction electronic project files
- Order office supplies and maintain office equipment for preconstruction
- Maintain an organized and professional office
- Training of admin support in preconstruction deliverables
