Field Engineering Technician – Charlotte

Rodgers has an opportunity for a Field Engineering Technician in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements / Experience

  • 2-3 years of field commercial construction experience

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Responsible for tracking and inventorying survey equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring survey equipment is serviced and maintained
  • Assist in troubleshooting survey equipment, including robotic total stations (with the help of vendors) and builder’s levels
  • Assist in training of Rodgers staff on the use of the equipment and respond to technical questions on the use of the surveying equipment
  • A working knowledge of surveying principles
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Stations preferred
  • Experience with construction field engineering and layout preferred
  • Able to travel to project sites in North and South Carolina
