Rodgers has an immediate need for a full-time Field Coordinator in Charleston, SC.
Requirements / Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience on a commercial construction project is desired
- Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Effective participation in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in the use of iOS devices and applications for blueprint navigation and review
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Supervise subcontractors’ daily tasks to ensure the accuracy of install by reviewing work against contract documents
- Ability to navigate through blueprints and work closely with the Superintendent to further develop understanding of details
- Capable of being trained to operate a Total Station to perform project layout
- Maintain field records of all aspects of different divisions to ensure accurate records of work
- OSHA10 Certified
- Monitor and enforce project safety requirements
- Assist in providing project safety orientation and safety meetings
- Ability to understand a project schedule and monitor subcontractor performance against the schedule
