Rodgers has an immediate need for a full-time Field Coordinator in Charleston, SC.

Requirements / Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience on a commercial construction project is desired
  • Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Effective participation in a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in the use of iOS devices and applications for blueprint navigation and review

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Supervise subcontractors’ daily tasks to ensure the accuracy of install by reviewing work against contract documents
  • Ability to navigate through blueprints and work closely with the Superintendent to further develop understanding of details
  • Capable of being trained to operate a Total Station to perform project layout
  • Maintain field records of all aspects of different divisions to ensure accurate records of work
  • OSHA10 Certified
  • Monitor and enforce project safety requirements
  • Assist in providing project safety orientation and safety meetings
  • Ability to understand a project schedule and monitor subcontractor performance against the schedule

Education

    • Bachelor’s in construction management desired
