Rodgers has an opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements / Experience

• An active CPA License or successful completion of the CPA Exam and awaiting CPA Certification.
• Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively engage key internal and external stakeholders.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Construction industry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Assume the primary responsibility of the Company’s daily Treasury functions.
• Assist the Company Controller and other Accounting Team Members with designated tasks.
• Lead 2 members of the Accounting Team on a daily basis.
• Engage in continuous improvement for the Accounting Team processes and procedures.
• Serve as a financial resource for Company non-accounting personnel and external Business Partners.
• Obtain the knowledge and experience to be a high-level Construction Industry Financial Professional.
