Wake Technical Community College Topping Out

06/17/2020

To ensure the safety of all our team members during the pandemic, we commemorated the Wake Tech Community College Topping Out Ceremony of the RT2 building virtually.

Wake Tech Board of trustees, staff, and faculty virtually watched as the top-most piece of steel structure was raised with the iconic evergreen tree and American flag to mark the safe completion of the steel infrastructure.

Focusing on biotechnology, the RT2 building will offer general and specialty classroom spaces, offices, a science suite and various collaboration spaces for the school’s competency-learning model, totaling 66,000 SF. The new three-story building will be an addition to the existing RTP Campus in Morrisville, NC.

Tom Looney, chair of the Wake Tech Board of Trustees, said, “This campus is going to enable our students to fulfill their dreams. It will help create the start of a whole new generation of technology leaders.”

Thank you to our clients at Wake Tech Community College, Sanford Steel, O’Brien Atkins and Rodgers Team members for partnering together to make this virtual experience a success!
