Sullenberger Aviation Museum Wins ABC National Eagle Award

We’re thrilled to announce that Rodgers has earned the Eagle Award, best in its category, for the Sullenberger Aviation Museum at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Nationals Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards Gala in Las Vegas on February 26! This prestigious event honors the nation’s top construction projects for their innovation, quality, safety, and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and merit-based principles.  
 
The Sullenberger Aviation Museum project brought two cutting-edge buildings to life at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The 42,500-square-foot Main Gallery houses iconic aircraft, including the “Miracle on the Hudson,” while serving as a hub for STEM programs. The vibrant 5,500-square-foot Welcome Center houses a gift shop and makerspace. A joint venture between Rodgers and R.J. Leeper Construction, this project blends innovation, education, and aviation history.
