Rodgers receives STEP Platinum Award

At the 5th Annual Safety Conference, held by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) of the Carolinas, Department of Labor Commissioner Cherie Berry presented Rodgers with STEP (Safety Training Evaluation Program) Platinum Award.

Established by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee, the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. Platinum Award recipients’ Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) must fall 25% below NAICS code average and maintain an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.8 or below, among other requirements.
