Rodgers launches 50th year with a new look
March 4, 2013 – Rodgers, Inc. was founded on December 2, 1963, by B.D. Rodgers, with a $5,000 loan on his life insurance policy, one superintendent and a pickup truck. By 1967, he had built the firm’s current Charlotte headquarters. Over the next decades, the company continued to flourish and is currently ranked among the nation’s top contractors, with additional offices in center city Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greenville, S.C.
Our anniversary theme, “Building on 50,” honors the accomplishments of the past 50 years, building on our strong heritage while looking toward the future. We’ve created a special anniversary mark to use throughout our 50th year. Our 50th anniversary celebration will culminate later this year in December and, throughout the coming months, we plan to take a leisurely stroll down memory lane through 50 years of building, sharing stories of the people, projects and places where we’ve worked, and the impact we’ve made on the lives of our construction partners, friends and families.
