03/22/2019

Associated Builders and Contractors honored Rodgers Builders with a national Excellence in Construction (EIC) Award for our work on the Bank of America Stadium Concourse 100 upgrades and 300/400 Club Level renovations.

During the project, all public spaces on the 100, 300 and 400 levels were renovated as part of the ongoing improvements at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The renovations create an enhanced fan experience improving convenience and enhancing the overall atmosphere. This included

  • 188,125 square feet of renovated concession space on the 100 level concourse.
  • 159,520 square feet of renovations within the clubs and corridors, including eight kitchens, eight bars and approximately three miles of interior corridor space at the 300 and 400 levels.
  • the full conversion of 3,690 square feet of existing corridor space on the 300 level into four enlarged, state-of-the-art enclosed terrace suites overlooking the field.
  • the conversion of two existing suites into one enlarged 1,160 square foot suite on the 400 level with new millwork, flooring and ceiling finishes, as well as modifications to retractable glass systems for new suite configuration.

Held at the 29th annual Excellence in Constructions Awards gala in Long Beach, CA, the EIC program celebrates the nation’s most innovative and high-quality construction projects, safety programs and diversity programs. The winning projects, selected from entries across the nation, were judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety and cost.

Congratulations to the Rodgers project team for a job well done!
