New corporate headquarters for Chiquita

Rodgers is upfitting six floors within the 20-story NASCAR® Plaza office tower for its newest tenant—Chiquita Brands International, Inc. Chiquita will occupy floors 10-16, approximately 130,000 square feet, and have everything from modular workspaces, conference/meeting rooms, and a call center—to a wellness room, marketing photo shoot room, file storage rooms, and locker rooms with showers.

Interior finishes and materials include tile and cork flooring, specialty ceilings, decorative light fixtures, mechanical shades, and glass storefront for team rooms and private offices.

Rodgers and the design team are aiming for LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold certification as they complete the upfit. Chiquita’s corporate headquarters will be ready for occupancy by the end of 2012.
