Dosher breaks ground on new renovation and expansion project

A groundbreaking ceremony was held April 17 for the long awaited new inpatient care facility at Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, North Carolina. Kirk Singer, a hospital spokesman, said the new facility, which will feature 25 private medical and surgical inpatient rooms, will offer a higher level of privacy, technology, security and comfort for our patients and their families.

In addition to the 6,000-square-foot inpatient care facility, a total of 12,000 square feet of the hospital will be renovated. The project is expected to be completed in 13 months.
