Children’s Garden breaks ground, uncovers treasure chest

Rodgers will build the new Kimbrell Children’s Garden at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont. Called “Lost Hollow,” the garden will feature 14 destinations within the garden, including a sunken pond and deconstructed castle. Fitting the garden’s theme, the groundbreaking unearthed a treasure chest, and once opened with a magical key, the plans for construction of the garden were handed over from garden designer W. Gary Smith to the Rodgers construction team.
