2019 JDRF Walk

The Rodgers project team at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center participated in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) annual One Walk. The 29^th Annual One Walk was held at Carowinds, and featured a fun race route throughout the park.

The JDRF One Walk 5k was founded 45 years ago with a vision of a world without Type 1 diabetes. This year’s walk surpassed its fundraising goal, raising $799,806 with over 6,000 participants.

Since 1992, the event has raised more than $1 billion for Type 1 Diabetes research, helping to find ways to prevent, delay and ultimately cure T1D.
