Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards presented to local companies

At the Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards, which honored ten local award winners, United Way of Central Carolinas presented Rodgers with Mecklenburg County’s “2014 Governor’s Volunteer Service Award” for Rodgers’ commitment to serving the community through support of Florence Crittenton Services for over 30 years.

Florence Crittenton Services’ mission is to promote health and hope for tomorrow’s children by providing comprehensive health, educational, pregnancy prevention and social services for single, pregnant, and non-pregnant adolescents, women and their families.
