Building bridges for the Carolina Thread Trail

Rodgers partnered with the Catawba Lands Conservancy in a community service project to further develop the Carolina Thread Trail by building three pedestrian bridges to connect trails on the Seven Oaks property, adjacent to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. About 80 Rodgers employees worked to haul materials and supplies through the rough trail terrain and construct the wood bridges.

The new Carolina Thread Trail segment opened on December 6, 2013.
