In January 2007, Rodgers began a 6,500 square-foot renovation at One Wachovia Tower to create a new home for Wachovia Securities PCG. The new brokerage offices have glass fronts and there is an exterior stock ticker that wraps the corner of College Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Inside the building there is second stock ticker, which is approximately 22-feet high.
Improvements, upgrades, and special features within the building include: modular arts wall panels, specialty lighting, new glass sliding doors and glass infills in the lobby/elevator area, raised flooring, Rulon wood panel feature wall and ceiling elements, and plasma screen TVs.
The total costs are approximately $2.4 million.
