All indoor sporting events, athletic training, various meetings and conferences, a dining venue and a state-of-the-art medical facility comprise the main functions within the facility.
The $12.3 million, 143,000-square-foot complex is home to the men’s and women’s varsity basketball teams in the 6,100-seat Belk Performance Arena, the varsity volleyball team, the men’s and women’s varsity tennis teams (4 indoor courts), the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams (8-lane, 25-meter natatorium), the varsity wrestling team, and the athletic administration. Additional scope includes three student recreation basketball courts, eight racquetball courts, dance studios, several weight rooms, locker rooms for seven team programs and a training room where athletes can receive treatment.
