The Belk Track and Field Center includes a 4,000-permanent-seat stadium complex with expansion capabilities for up to 20,000 spectators; three buildings that encompass 10,500 square feet of heated space, including the North Pavilion with coaches offices, student-athlete locker rooms and hospitality suite. The South Pavilion has public restrooms, concession area and a press box.
Located at the main entrance of the facility are two ticket booths, the Wall of Champions and the Recognition Center. The athletic events area includes the South's first eight-lane, (each 48 inches in width), continuous radius track with a full-depth polyurethane system. Track events such as the high jump, pole vault, long jump and triple jump are all accommodated. The full-sized 120 by 75 yard field area is home to the men's and women's soccer programs and is used during track events for the shot put, discus, javelin and hammer throws.
