In August 2001, Rodgers began construction of Meredith College's new multidisciplinary facility for math and science teaching and research. The facility is a lab-rich environment including Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science studies. Located in the southwest quadrant of the campus, the facility forms the West Side of the academic quad. The 78,000 square-foot structure is steel frame and masonry construction. Exterior skin detail is brick and cast stone, complemented by a two-story glass atrium feature located in the center of the building.
Total project construction cost is approximately $17.1 million. The project was completed in December 2002.
