Project scope includes the construction of a new high school consisting of one main building and multiple field buildings situated on 62-acres in northeast Charlotte. Site plans include a courtyard, auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium and auxiliary gymnasium, plus football, baseball, softball, and tennis facilities.
The school accommodates students in grades 9-12 with a maximum enrollment of 2,500. Mallard Creek High School was designed as a 300,000-square-foot precast structure with insulated architectural wall panels, double-t floors and roof systems.
