General Contracting, Preconstruction
In Spring 1998, Bank of America selected Rodgers Builders to begin restoration and renovation of the former First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church located on North Tryon Street in downtown Charlotte. The restored facility houses the McColl Center for Visual Art and includes 15 artist's studios, offices, conference areas and gallery space. The $7 million project included preservation of the facility's stone exterior shell, bell tower and limestone features, while rebuilding the structural steel which had been damaged by fire.
