This project is an expansion of the existing Maryfield Retirement Community overlooking High Point City Lake. Project scope includes comprehensive sitework over approximately 18 acres including new water and sewer line extensions, clearing, site grading, erosion control, storm drainage and landscaping. New construction consists of a 3-story building with a Community Commons and Wellness Center, two contiguous wings for Independent Living Apartments and Assisted Living Physically Frail (ALPF) units.
The existing nursing home will be expanded with a new Assisted Living/Cognitively Impaired (ALCI) and Adult/Child Daycare Wing. Eighteen (18) cottages will be built along with a new maintenance building.
All new structures are steel-frame, with the exception of the wood-frame Independent Living wings, the woodframe cottages and the load bearing masonry ALCI facility.
