The Oncology Pavilion scope includes a new 5-level (including cast-in-place concrete basement) addition to the hospital's Concord, North Carolina campus. The project scope consists of a 145,000 square-foot, steel-frame addition and a 15,000 square foot of renovation where the new addition connects to the existing hospital. The Pavilion is the new home for the Batte Cancer Center, Cannon Heart Center, Rejuvenation Center, and an Outpatient Pharmacy.
The Batte Cancer Center is a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center. It is one of several facilities within North Carolina that utilizes the noninvasive CyberKnife equipment and technology to aid its patients. Additional floors include medical office space and shell space for future growth.
