The new 24,000 square-foot Emergency Department at Thomasville Medical Center includes two orthopedic rooms, 6-bed fast tract center, 5-bed chest pain center, behavioral health room, and a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) room. Additionally, the new Emergency Department has its own Radiology unit and CT scan. This keeps patients in a centralized area when they are in need of emergency x-rays and scans.
