The Rodgers team was responsible for the 211,650-square-foot upfit of seven floors within the Duke Energy Center office tower, located in Center City Charlotte; this included general office space and conference areas.
Interior spaces were designed so that 97% of all occupied seated spaces have a direct line of sight to exterior views. The team used flooring products, interior paints/coatings, adhesives, and sealant products, which comply with strict standards that limit Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
These and other Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)® initiatives add to a more pleasurable work environment. The upfit project received LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
