Construction Management, Design Build, Preconstruction
Rodgers was responsible for the construction of Davis Residence Hall, the seventh building in Martin Court, an area of campus that is dedicated to student housing. This building has load-bearing masonry walls and precast concrete floors.
The four-story, 25,000-square-foot dormitory has the capacity to house 60 students. There are 15 apartments; each unit contains a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and individual bedrooms.
The architectural plans are based upon Davidson’s Ryburn Residence Hall (1991), a prior Rodgers’ project, and were updated to reflect current building codes.
Davis Residence Hall is LEED® Silver certified.
