The project scope includes 50,000 sq. ft. new data center that protects all State of North Carolina government data in the event of a natural disaster or threat to homeland security. The data center contains over 15,000 sq. ft. of raised/access flooring. The data center represents the largest single investment in state government information technology in a generation. It enables the State of North Carolina to have the capability to backup every application that provides critical services to the citizens.
