The $28 million facility was constructed in the central business district of uptown Charlotte. The 168,000-square-foot Children's Learning Center includes two large 550-seat and 250-seat theaters with state-of-the-art technology, exhibition and classroom space. The building design was a joint collaboration between Holzman Moss Associates, New York, NY and Gantt Huberman Architects, Charlotte, NC. ImaginOn was the first project in Center City Charlotte to seek LEED certification and has been awarded a LEED Silver rating.
