Project Awards and Company Rankings

2008 - Rodgers Builders ranks #5 among the top 25 North Carolina general contractors, according to Business North Carolinas' report, which was published in June 2008. The publication ranks North Carolina general contractors based on 2007 billings of over $90 million.

2008 - Rodgers Builders ranks 146 among the top 400 contractors in the nation, as reported by Engineering News-Record magazine (May 19-26, 2008) in their annual listing of “Top 400 Contractors.” The listing is based upon construction revenue from 2007.

2008 - Carolinas AGC (Associated General Contractors of America) named Rodgers Builders, Inc. as the Best General Contractor. The organization, which honors “the best of the best in the Carolinas construction industry,” presented Rodgers Builders with the prestigious 2007 Pinnacle Award for Best General Contractor in February at their annual convention in Aventura, Florida.

2008 – For two consecutive years, Modern Healthcare has ranked Rodgers Builders 7th among the top national healthcare general contractors. This year’s ranking was based on 1,488,000 s.f. and revenues of over $324 million for healthcare construction in 2007.

2008 - Southeast Construction ranked Rodgers Builders #19 in its April 2008 listing of “Top Contractors,” based on 2007 regional revenues.

2007 - According to The Business Journal’s June 2007 report, Rodgers Builders Inc. (RBI) ranks second among the 25 Top Area General Contractors within a thirteen-county region of North and South Carolina. The publication ranked RBI based upon their 2006 billings over $240 million.

2007 - Rodgers Builders ranks 47th among the top 100 construction management-at risk firms in the nation, as reported by Engineering News-Record magazine (June 11, 2007) in their annual listing of “Top 100 CM Firms.”

2007 - Rodgers Builders ranks 156 among the top 400 contractors in the nation, as reported by Engineering News-Record magazine (May 21, 2007) in their annual listing of “Top 400 Contractors.” The listing is based upon construction revenue from 2006.

2007 - Southeast Construction ranked Rodgers Builders #22 in its April 2007 listing of “Top Contractors,” based on 2006 regional revenues

2007 - Rodgers Builders ranks 7th among the top national healthcare general contractors for 2006, based on 1,528,000 s.f. and revenues of over $195 million for healthcare construction

2006 - In November 2006, the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) presented Rodgers Builders with the “2006 Award of Excellence” for Palmetto Heart Hospital.

- Carolinas AGC (Associated General Contractors) presented the Presbyterian Women’s Center project team the Pinnacle Award for “Best Building Project of 2005”

2005 - Johnson & Wales University Academic Center named winner of the “Excellence in Construction” award by Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABCC) for quality, innovation, and teamwork

2005 - ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center received the Merit Award for “Excellence in Construction” from ABC of the Carolinas

2005 - Ranked #56 of the “Top 100 Construction Management-at-Risk” firms in the nation, by Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine

2005 - ImaginOn named “Green Building Project of the Year” by Mecklenburg County Solid Waste Management for efforts to reduce and recycle construction waste

2005 - ENR magazine ranked Rodgers Builders #219 in its national list of “Top 400 Contractors,” based on 2004 revenues

2005 - Ranked #6 of the Top Area General Contractors by The Charlotte Business Journal

2005 - Ranked #7 nationally by Modern Healthcare Weekly Business News in its listing of Top Healthcare General Contractors

2004 - Best of 2004 award for Best Private Building, Presbyterian Hospital Women’s Center, awarded by Southeast Construction magazine
