Rodgers employees build first LEED Platinum house for Habitat Charlotte

The Charlotte Business Journal reported that Rodgers’ volunteers are well on their way to completing Habitat Charlotte’s first LEED Platinum-level house. The two-story house fulfills the highest standards required by the U.S. Green Building Council. About 70 Rodgers employees have been part of the effort, which is one of several community service projects undertaken to celebrate our company’s 50th anniversary. Rodgers’ partners on the project include many subcontractors and suppliers, including Precision Plumbing, Starr Electric, Johnson’s Roofing, Metrolina Landscaping, Warco and Bonitz Flooring Group.
