RodgersHardin, an alliance of contractors Rodgers Builders and Hardin Construction Company, received the 2005 Award of Merit from the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABCC) for ImaginOn: The Joe and Joan Martin Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The award was based on the construction team’s outstanding achievements in quality, innovation, teamwork, management of construction constraints, and safety on the project.
ImaginOn, the new home for the children’s library and Children’s Theatre, incorporated imaginative design and construction methods and materials to become the first publicly owned “green” building in Charlotte.
